I have been out of work for almost a year now. I am very grateful that I still have a place to lay my head at night and food in my belly. This Christmas instead of being like the many millions who give commercialized gifts to family and friends who still have the basics that everyone needs, I will be giving whatever I can to those who are living on the streets with no food, shelter, or hope. It's a sacrifice (and isn't that what good will should be?) that I believe if everyone made this year, would make a world of difference to those who otherwise would feel no one cared. I'll be giving hand-made cards to my loved ones letting them know this was done in their honor; I hope they are good enough people to be happy for those who received the gifts. If they get upset, then they need more help than the homeless. Please join me in trying to save some of the less fortunate.
